Dry Fruits Ladoo Recipe Details
Ingredients
- White sesame seeds – 1/2 cup
- Badam (Almonds) – 1/2 cup
- Cashew nuts – 1/2 cup
- Pumpkin seeds – 1/4 cup
- Dry grapes (Kismis) – 1/4 cup
- Dates (seeds removed) – 1 cup
- Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp
- Ghee – 1 tsp
Method
- Heat a heavy-bottomed kadai and roast white sesame seeds on medium flame until they start to pop and release a nice aroma. Do not over-brown. Transfer to a plate.
- In the same kadai, roast badam until you see light brown spots. Transfer to a plate.
- Roast cashew nuts until they turn slightly golden. Transfer.
- Add pumpkin seeds and roast for a few minutes. Transfer.
- Add dry grapes and dates. Roast gently until they become soft and warm. Switch off the flame.
- Allow everything to cool completely.
- In a mixer jar, add roasted sesame seeds, badam, cashew, and pumpkin seeds. Grind in pulse mode to get a coarse texture. Do not over-grind.
- Add cardamom powder, roasted dry grapes, and dates. Grind again in pulse mode until everything blends well.
- Transfer the mixture to a plate. Grease your palms with ghee and shape into ladoos. Store in an airtight container. Stays good for up to 15 days at room temperature.
