Raw onions offer many incredible benefits. To reduce the sharp and pungent smell from small onions we use tamarind for this chutney. You can mix the chutney with a tbsp of gingely oil and enjoy this chutney with your favourite dosas.

Ingredients
- 20 to 25 small onions
- 5 garlic cloves
- 7 to 9 red chillies
- 1 tsp tamarind
- salt to taste
- Peel the small onions and garlic cloves. Soak the tamarind with little water.
- Take a small chutney jar and add the salt, soaked tamarind and red chillies. Grind the red chillies and the tamarind.
- Next, add the small onions and garlic cloves.
- Grind the chutney nicely with little water. Transfer the chutney to the serving bowl.

Peel the small onions and garlic cloves. Soak the tamarind with little water.
