Fresh grated radish and dried kasuri methi leaves are mixed with whole wheat flour for this quick and tasty paratha. The excellent flavour of kasuri methi and peppery flavour of grated radish gives a nice combination for the paratha. It is made with very simple ingredients and involves very little preparation, so you can prepare within 30 minutes for your weeknight dinner. You can serve it with curd or any easy light gravy.

Ingredients:
- 2 small radish or 3/4 cup peeled and grated radish
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp kasuri methi
- 1/2 tsp chilly powder
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- oil
- salt
- ghee for toasting
Cooking Directions:
1. Wash and peel the radish. Grate the radish using a regular grater. If you are using the mini cheese grater you have to squeeze the juice. For this paratha regular grater is well as the tiny bits of radish look good.
2. In a deep bowl, combine all the ingredients and mix them nicely without any water.
3. Now sprinkle a handful of water and knead it into a soft dough. Apply 1 to 2 tbsp of oil and keep it aside for 10 minutes.
4. Divide the dough into 5 equal balls and roll out each ball into a medium
circle about 7 cms on the board using a little whole wheat flour.
5. Heat a tava and cook each paratha using 1/2 tsp of ghee, till they turn golden brown in colour.
