Sweet Corn Fried Rice - Fried rice recipe without any sauce - Kid's lunch box recipes

Sweet corn fried rice - another fried rice recipe without any sauce, vinegar and mono sodium glutamate. This fried rice tastes exactly like the heaping fried rice you order at the restaurant. It's fluffy, full of flavour with crunchy capsicum pieces and impossible to stop with one plate.  So, what makes Sweet corn fried rice special? It's all about that beautiful yellow colour and mild sweet taste from the fresh sweet corn kernels. The rice is flavoured with black pepper powder, green chillies and cloves. I also added a handful of fresh green capsicum in my sweet corn fried rice. Just dice the capsicum  and do not saute it for more than 30 seconds. This sweet corn fried rice takes about 10 minutes of preparation to get the veggies diced, another 5 minutes to remove the sweet corn kernels, then 10 minutes to cook the rice. I hope you like this Sweet corn fried rice recipe and kindly watch the video for step by step instructions. I have been experiencing severe shoulder pain for...

Easy Paneer Gravy - Paneer Masala within 20 minutes - Paneer Recipes

This easy paneer gravy is a mouthwatering side dish made with paneer cooked in a rich gravy prepared with  onions, tomatoes and other spices. It's mild and not very spicy, which tastes so good with chapathi, nann, roti and pulao.  Paneer gravies can be made in a variety of ways. This recipe is the easy version of paneer butter masala. Most of the time we prepare paneer gravy with fresh cream, butter and cashew nuts. To make a tasty paneer masala, you do not need fresh cream. You can easily make restaurant style paneer gravy with easily available ingredients in your kitchen. I always like to add a few cashew nuts while making gravies, which gives a creamy consistency. The addition of dried kasuri methi leaves gives a unique flavour for paneer based gravies. I used homemade garamasala powder for gravies which does not include red chillies or pepper in it. Add garamasala powder to your personal taste preferences. Now let's see how to prepare this easy paneer gravy with step by ste...

Green Peas Masala - Green Peas Curry - Pattani Masala

Peas masala recipe with full video and step by step pictures. This peas masala is a coconut based gravy pairs very well with chapathi, dosa and poori. This peas masala is a simple yet delicious gravy which can be easily prepared by beginners to cooking.  To prepare this peas kurma you will require green peas that have been soaked 6 to 8 hours. You will also need onions, tomatoes  and ground masala paste include onions,  ginger, garlic, fennel, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, cashew nuts and grated coconut. Now let's see how to prepare perfect peas masala. This masala tastes good with dried green peas because dried green peas are higher in starch, which gives an ideal creamy texture for the kurma. So do  not forget to soak the green peas ahead of time because this is an essential step for this kurma. If you add baking soda for pressure cooking, it weakens the peas skins and you will get mushy peas. If the green peas  are cooked well with a  soft texture, you can...

Matar Paneer - Green Peas and Paneer Gravy - Side Dish for Roti, Nann and Pulao

Matar Paneer Gravy  recipe with full video and step by step pictures. Easy and yummy gravy pairs well with jeera rice, roti, poori, nann and dosa. When I was in 12th standard I cooked this gravy  for the first time on my own by following Chef. Mallika Badrinath's recipe instructions. My sister loved it and she told it tasted closer to the restaurant style gravies. Since green peas are in season now, I decided to post this recipe along with the video. Usually for gravies we cook the green peas separately in a vessel and then we add it to the masala. Today I chose to prepare the gravy in the pressure cooker, as I want to cook the green peas to blend well with the gravy. I used store bought paneer for making this matar paneer gravy. You can use homemade paneer also or you can replace paneer with other vegetables like potato, cauliflower or soya chunks.  Check out my other Gravy Recipes Paneer Butter Masala   Paneer Methi Masala Shahi Gobi Masala Broccoli Masala Raj...
